We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate New Graduate Nurse to join our Med Surg Urology/Stroke team at Ascension Providence Hospital. As a New Graduate Nurse, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Assist with patient care, including observation and documentation of patient healthcare needs.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, communicating and recording changes in patient conditions as necessary.
- Participate in transition to practice programs to develop clinical thinking and enhanced clinical judgment.
- BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire date.
- Registered Nurse licensure from the Texas Board of Nursing required prior to hire date.
- Diploma from an accredited school of nursing or professional licensure at time of hire required.
