Key Responsibilities

• Lead a high-achieving remote team of software engineers (individual contributors) to successfully deliver intricate projects on schedule and with excellence.

• Formulate and implement technical strategies, roadmaps, and priorities for the team's initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

• Mentor and develop the technical skills and leadership potential of individual contributors, nurturing a culture of continuous improvement and growth.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and quality assurance, to drive innovation and experimentation.

• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance assessments, and goal-setting discussions for team members to facilitate individual career advancement.

• Develop and oversee the technical roadmap for the team, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and prioritizing initiatives that yield business benefits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a Senior Software Engineer or equivalent senior technical position, ideally in a remote work environment.

• Proven success in leading remote teams and managing distributed projects to achieve high-quality outcomes.

• Strong technical proficiency in developing with Flutter, React, Node, and TypeScript, with expertise in at least one of these technologies.

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence cross-functional teams in a remote setting.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, and a readiness to adopt new practices as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in native app development.

• Knowledge of AWS cloud and cloud-native technologies.

• Previous experience in a Software Engineering Manager or similar leadership capacity.

• Understanding of DevOps practices and tools (Gitlab, GitHub, git, trunk-based development).

• Familiarity with modern software development methodologies (Microservices, Service-Oriented Architecture).
