We are seeking a dynamic and talented Per Diem Intake RN working 7p-7a rotating weekends to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals.
Job Summary:The Intake Registered Nurse is responsible for coordination of assessments of incoming patients with Intake Counselors, coordinates Doctor's assessments and initiates the Admission process. The Intake/MOT Registered Nurse is responsible managing the MOT process and may provide technical assistance to the discharge planning process.

- Education Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing either through ADN, Diploma or BSN Program.
- Licensure and certification Required: Current Texas State Registered Nurse licensure. CPR and hospital de-escalation certifications.
- Experience Required: Two years of inpatient psychiatric experience. Knowledge of appropriate nursing assessment, diagnosis and intervention with psychiatric patients. Ability to accurately administer medication and monitor side effects. Knowledge of milieu management. Ability to delegate responsibility to others as permitted in the Nurse Practice Act and monitor performance of delegated tasks. Ability to safely implement special treatment procedures. Skill in preparing and maintaining appropriate medical record documentation.
