**Estimated Salary Range:** $99,000 - $148,500 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Roadway Design Specialist to design and develop high-quality transportation infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for technical design, project planning, and coordination with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical design and project planning
  • Design calculations and drawings
  • Coordination with clients and stakeholders
  • Quality assurance and quality control
  • Project coordination and delivery

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in roadway/transportation design
  • NC Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • Expertise in MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and other relevant software
  • Familiarity with AASHTO, NCDOT, and regional design standards
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
