At North Star Diagnostic Imaging, we are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team of dedicated professionals.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic MRI procedures, focusing on patient care and education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality diagnostic MRI imaging
- Identify patient service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients
- Ensure operation of radiology equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops
- Prepare patient for radiological procedure by positioning patient and adjusting immobilization devices
- Minimize radiation to patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques
- Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols
- Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records

Working Conditions:
This is a PRN/Contracted position, with hours as needed. The ideal candidate will be located in the North Dallas Area, TX.
Salary: Dependent on experience.
Required Education: MRI certified.
Required Certifications: Texas Medical Board, ARRT and/or ARMRIT.
