The University of New Mexico is seeking a highly qualified Clinical Psychologist to join our team in the Department of Pediatrics. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented group of professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide psychological and cognitive assessments, direct interventions with patients and families, and consultation as part of an inpatient rehabilitation team.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to address the unique needs of pediatric patients with complex medical conditions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and families.
- Participate in ongoing research projects or develop an independent research program to advance the field of pediatric rehabilitation psychology.
- Supervise and provide didactic education to trainees in the two APA Accredited psychology internship programs in Albuquerque.
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology.
- Minimum one (1) year clinical experience.
- Successful completion of EPPP (Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology).
- Able to obtain medical licensure(s) in the state of New Mexico.
- Educational, teaching, and supervisory experience with trainees in multiple disciplines.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Experience providing interdisciplinary clinical services to an inpatient pediatric rehabilitation population.
- Post-doctoral experience or training in pediatric or rehabilitation psychology.
- A dynamic and supportive work environment.
