Job Summary

The University of New Mexico is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in the Department of Pediatrics. As a Clinical Psychologist in Pediatric Rehabilitation, you will be responsible for providing expert care to children with complex medical conditions, including brain injury, spinal cord injury, and stroke. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based interventions to promote optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

* Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of children with complex medical conditions
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
* Utilize evidence-based interventions to promote optimal outcomes
* Collaborate with families, schools, and providers to address children's special healthcare needs
* Participate in ongoing research projects or develop an independent research program

Requirements

* PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology
* Successful completion of EPPP (Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology)
* Ability to obtain medical licensure(s) in the state of New Mexico
* Educational, teaching, and supervisory experience with trainees in multiple disciplines
* Bilingual in Spanish and English
* Experience providing interdisciplinary clinical services to an inpatient pediatric rehabilitation population
* Post-doctoral experience or training in pediatric or rehabilitation psychology
