Bakery Specialist

About the Role:

As a Cake Decorator at Sam's Club, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional member service in your area. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member's expectations. Your primary responsibility will be to drive member service by creating visually appealing bakery items, such as cakes and pastries, that meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of bakery productions.
• Plan and execute bakery productions, ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of bakery decorative designs.
• Work with a variety of products, including decorating bags, tips, and nozzles, to create decorative flowers and lettering on bakery items.
• Ensure adherence to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management.
• Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment, and demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution.
• Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
• Drive the performance of the bakery area, ensuring quality and date control standards, eliminating waste, and preparing for seasonal events that impact the bakery volume.
• Be a brand advocate by valuing the member's experience in Bakery and modeling high-quality service and products.

• 6 months' experience in fresh production area.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
