The Case Planner role involves evaluating safety and risk factors, delivering therapeutic support, and engaging with community resources to assist families in minimizing their involvement with child welfare services.

CORE COMPETENCIES:

KEY FUNCTIONS:
  • Evaluate safety and risk factors
  • Provide counseling and case management
  • Identify and facilitate access to community resources
  • Work in partnership with external agencies
  • Oversee children's health requirements
  • Engage in Family Team Meetings
EDUCATIONAL / TRAINING:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related discipline
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

Bilingual and bicultural candidates are encouraged. Previous experience within the child welfare sector is advantageous. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
