We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Service Manager to join our team at Friendship Community Care. Key Responsibilities- Lead the hiring, evaluation, counseling, and discharge of staff members.
- Ensure all staff receive comprehensive training and adhere to regulatory standards.
- Address staff and client-related issues, serving as a liaison for STAR and reporting incidents, Workers Compensation, and FMLA matters.
- Conduct on-site visits and monitor Lead Staff in maintaining facilities and vehicles according to FCC, DDS, CARF, and PASSE standards.
- Review progress notes, respond to audits, review and sign time cards, and submit payroll change forms.
- Ensure all positions are filled, monitor overtime, and guarantee staff work approved schedules at approved pay rates.
- Handle emergency situations, report abuse or neglect, and maintain client case files and family contact.
- Monitor BIRs and Med Errors, complete incident reports, and address consumer behaviors in accordance with PBMP.
- Coordinate community outings and trips, report deficiencies, and conduct quality control weekend checks.
- Lead staff and consumer meetings, ensure compliance with CARF, DDS, and PASSE requirements, and complete weekly and quarterly reports.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly peer audits, ensure timely billing, and stay current on utilization and documentation via the EHR/HR Platform.
- Collaborate with PASSE employees to implement and support consumers, maintain necessary documentation, and keep Outlook Calendar and FCC email up to date.
- Drive participant day trips to various state locations, undergo periodic driving tests, and maintain liability coverage on personal vehicles used for transportation.
To succeed in this role, you must possess a Bachelor's degree in a human services-related field or equivalent experience. You should be able to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as the ability to work in a moderate noise level environment.
This is a safety-sensitive position, and you must adhere to the Code of Conduct and Compliance Investigation Procedures. You will be required to maintain confidentiality of all information received regarding Friendship Community Care and clients, in compliance with the Non-Disclosure Policy and HIPAA Policies.
