Job Responsibilities

  • Perform cardiac catheterization procedures using the heart catheterization tool.
  • Assist physicians with the implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators in patients with heart conditions and heart disease.
  • Support physicians performing angioplasties, valvuloplasties, stent placements, cardiac catheterization, and other catheterization procedures.

Requirements

  • BLS certification
  • Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience
  • Color vision
  • Exam Core Mandatory Part I
  • Exam Core Mandatory Part II (Nursing)
  • Exam Core Mandatory Part III
  • Preventing Medication Errors
  • RN Pharmacology
  • RN State License
