Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Floor Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities, including offices, resident rooms, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells, and other public areas.

Responsibilities

  • Hard Surface Maintenance
    • Dust and wet mop hard surfaces, including floors, walls, and countertops
    • Strip, wax, and buff floors to maintain a high-gloss finish
    • Shampoo and extract carpets to remove dirt and stains
    • Bonet and clean high-traffic areas
  • Trash and Recycling
    • Collect trash and recycling from units and dispose of properly
  • Safety and Security
    • Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
    • Report equipment and cleaning product needs and malfunctions to supervisor
    • Ensure established safety and quality guidelines are met
  • Customer Service
    • Provide positive, pleasant, and tactful interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Physical Demands
    • Lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds
    • Push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds
    • Stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
    • Exposure to cleaning products and chemicals
