Job Description:

Stine Seed Company, a leading national seed company, is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our team in Southern Maryland. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with dealers and growers in the assigned territory, providing agronomic and technical support, and driving sales growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Stine seed products and services
  • Manage existing dealer accounts and recruit new dealerships
  • Communicate and implement Stine's sales programs and policies
  • Work in conjunction with the Stine Regional Sales Agronomist to provide sales support
  • Develop and enhance relationships with customers and potential customers
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of ag experience, including previous experience in agronomy, crop production, or seed sales
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of proven sales techniques and excellent negotiating skills
  • Demonstrated success in dealer development and retention
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision to meet established goals
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with growers
  • Ability to understand the needs and values of growers and achieve desired results
