Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized New Home Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our New Home Division, you will be responsible for assisting the New Home Senior Project Manager in lot modifications and lot preparations for new home setups.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the New Home Senior Project Manager to prepare and obtain home site surveys.
- Research home setbacks at the local level, ensuring compliance with city and county regulations.
- Manage and track the shipping, arrival, and setup of new homes, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
- Assess existing home sites to determine required site prep, including excavation and grading.
- Assist communities in managing the receiving of new homes, setup of new homes, and vendor setup, ensuring seamless transitions.
- Locate and contract with vendors to ensure reasonable pricing and control of costs, promoting cost-effective solutions.
- Travel approximately 60% of the time, visiting communities and collaborating with team members.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of project management or similar experience, preferably in the manufactured home industry.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred; HS Diploma or GED required.
- Working knowledge of physical facilities, including construction renovation and site preparation.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with all levels of personnel, including residents, community managers, and vendors.
- Ability to develop and negotiate proposals and contracts with vendors and other project partners, promoting strong relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational, time management, problem-solving, multitasking, and follow-through skills.
- Valid operator's license and reliable transportation.
