Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Driver Guard to join our team at Loomis. As an Armed Driver Guard, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and secure transportation of cash, coins, and valuables.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Drive automatic armored vehicles and other vehicles on designated routes servicing customer locations.
  • Service ATMs and Smart Safes: Ensure the secure and efficient operation of ATMs and Smart Safes at customer locations.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by delivering customer change orders and picking up deposits in a timely and professional manner.
  • Cargo Handling: Load and unload vehicle cargo, including multiple bags and boxes of coins, and count items, record, and sign for cargo items.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management, including but not limited to, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and its contents.
Requirements:
  • Age: Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Driving Record: Must have a minimum of a 3-year driving record.
  • Medical Certification: Must be able to obtain a Medical Examiners Certificate via a US Department of Transportation approved medical examiner.
  • Firearms Permit: Must have a valid firearms permit or be able to pass applicable firearms requirements.
Working Conditions:
  • Schedule: Full-time schedule potentially consisting of an average of 40 to 50 hours/week, with a minimum of 5 days during a 6-day period. Occasional weekend work may be required.
  • Work Environment: Approximately 90-95 percent of work is performed in air-conditioned vehicles within individual compartments (front and rear).
