Nuclear ISFSI Security Officer - Armed Job Description

At MSCCN, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nuclear ISFSI Security Officer - Armed to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for providing physical protection of nuclear Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI) facilities against intrusion and acts of sabotage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct ISFSI surveillance and control access and/or egress of personnel, vehicles, and materials
  • Monitor plant surveillance equipment and alarm systems
  • Compose reports and deter criminal activity, misconduct, and safety violations
  • Respond to medical, fire, and hazard emergencies as required
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current and valid driver's license
  • State-issued firearms license (licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations)
  • Meaningful and verifiable work history
