About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Calibration Lab Manager to join our team at American Equipment HR LLC. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our calibration laboratory and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Oversee the calibration laboratory and ensure that all operations are conducted in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
    • Manage a team of calibration technicians and provide guidance and support to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members to help them improve their performance.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure that all calibration work is performed to the highest standards.
    • Conduct regular audits to ensure that all calibration equipment and procedures are in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
    • Identify and implement opportunities for improvement to enhance the quality of our calibration services.
  • Sales and Marketing
    • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers to promote our calibration services.
    • Provide technical support and guidance to customers to ensure that they understand the benefits of our calibration services.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow our calibration services.
  • Education and Qualifications
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. metrology, physics, mathematics) preferred.
    • Certifications in metrology and/or quality assurance preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 standards and calibration procedures.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
