Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and mentor a team of cybersecurity experts, promoting professional development and a proactive approach to security challenges.
  • Design, execute, and oversee innovative cybersecurity strategies aimed at protecting applications and sensitive data in cloud environments.
  • Perform comprehensive risk evaluations and vulnerability assessments on various applications and systems.
  • Manage the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process for cloud migrations, ensuring compliance with all Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements through meticulous documentation and review.
  • Lead ongoing vulnerability management efforts, including security assessments, patching, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Formulate and maintain cyber incident response protocols, including procedures for post-incident evaluations.
Location

This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements.

Qualifications
  • Possession of an active DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the cybersecurity field, with a strong emphasis on network, application, and cloud security.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud security principles and technologies across multiple Cloud Service Providers.
  • Practical experience in implementing the RMF framework and A&A processes, particularly in developing System Security Plans (SSP) for DoD applications.
  • Proven ability to collaborate within a modern DevSecOps environment, enhancing security measures through automation and innovative tooling.
  • Hands-on experience in establishing a Secure Cloud Computing Architecture (SCCA) for at least one Cloud Service Provider.
  • Understanding of data security regulations in alignment with DoD and USAF cybersecurity standards, including NIST SP 800-53 and RMF guidelines.
