Position Overview
The Client Service Representative is the first point of contact for our clients, setting the tone for their experience with us. This role combines customer service with sales acumen to cultivate relationships that positively influence our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer service tasks, including welcoming visitors, handling phone inquiries, and directing clients and their pets to examination areas.
- Coordinate and confirm appointments effectively.
- Conduct follow-up calls and reach out to potential clients.
- Communicate and clarify fees, including processing payments.
- Advise on and procure products and services, including prescriptions.
- Address inquiries regarding products and services, providing education on general pet care.
- Maintain medical records, documentation, and correspondence.
Qualifications
We welcome candidates from diverse professional backgrounds, including healthcare, retail, hospitality, sales, and administration. All successful candidates will share a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of one year of experience in customer service.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Outstanding listening and communication skills.
- A compassionate approach towards pets and their owners.
- Strong decision-making abilities.
- The capacity to integrate new information into problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- A willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- The physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and manage potential hazards associated with pets.
Compensation and Benefits
Hourly wage ranges from $15.00 to $18.00, commensurate with experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan, and generous employee discounts for pet care.
