Position Overview

Tolunay-Wong Engineers, Inc. (TWE) is in search of a dedicated Heavy Equipment Transport Driver to join our Geotechnical Field Services Division. This role is essential for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of equipment. Candidates must possess a Class A license and demonstrate a solid driving history, along with familiarity in handling heavy machinery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport drilling and field exploration machinery.
  • Travel frequently to deliver and service equipment as required.
  • Execute tasks assigned by the Drilling Supervisor/Coordinator/Manager.
  • Acquire and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all TWE equipment.
  • Monitor equipment performance to identify maintenance and repair needs.
  • Complete necessary documentation, including inventory, inspections, and maintenance logs.
  • Participate in safety meetings and adhere to TWE and client safety protocols.
  • Ensure a clean and organized workspace, including equipment and job site areas.
  • Submit all required paperwork daily.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in reading and writing in English.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Capable of passing initial, random, and annual hair follicle drug tests.
  • Possess a Class A Texas Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Able to physically implement changes and conduct maintenance on equipment.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and take ownership of tasks, regardless of size.
  • Facilitate positive and professional relationships with clients.
  • Open to learning, asking questions, and contributing new ideas.
