Job Description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop comprehensive reports utilizing various data sources and databases.
2. Conduct data gathering and workflow modeling to support planning and analytical efforts.
3. Examine, diagnose, and summarize data trends and insights.
4. Provide management with data analysis updates to assist in tactical and strategic decision-making.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to create and maintain reporting tools.
6. Lead internal team projects as assigned.
7. Aid in the creation of new reporting technologies, including applications and dashboards for information delivery.
8. Engage with clients regarding planning activities, trends, and reporting.
9. Support extensive ad-hoc reporting and assignments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including Macros, formulas, and charts.
- Expert knowledge of Access, with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain existing databases, including linked tables with ODBC connections and familiarity with AS400 systems.
- Proficient in all forms of queries and table mapping.
- Experience in building both standalone and interconnected databases.
- Proficient in Power BI, with the ability to support data lakes through Azure.
- Capable of creating and maintaining Power BI queries for consistent reporting.
- Strong data management and dashboarding skills.
- A problem-solving mindset with creative thinking abilities.
- Educational background in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or 3-5 years of relevant experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in automotive logistics analysis, including routing, order management, costing, and freight auditing & payment is highly valued.
