About the Role

We are seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to join our team at MGS Mfg. Group. As an EHS Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees, as well as the environmental sustainability of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on EHS procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
  • Develop and maintain EHS metrics and reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental science, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in EHS, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make sound conclusions.
