Patient Advocate

Annual Salary: $93,000 - $118,000

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Patient Advocate to join our team at University Hospitals. In this role, you will prioritize the needs of patients and their families, ensuring they receive high-quality, person-centered care.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
  • Advocate for patients' rights and interests.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • BSN or MSN degree from an accredited institution
  • RN licensure in the State of Ohio
  • BLS certification upon hire
  • ACLS and PALS certifications may be required based on clinical area standards
