We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. Your primary responsibility will be to perform portable x-rays and EKG exams, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities- Travel to patient locations to perform diagnostic imaging exams, adhering to company policies and protocols.
- Collect and verify patient information and order documentation prior to procedures.
- Prepare and position patients for exams, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate portable radiologic equipment, determining exposure factors based on patient needs.
- Process and review images for diagnostic quality, transmitting them to radiologists or requesting physicians in a timely manner.
- Complete records, visit logs, and reports according to standard protocols.
- Maintain equipment, assist with troubleshooting, and perform routine cleaning and maintenance.
- Operate company vehicles, ensuring they are well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Comply with local, state, and federal regulations related to portable imaging procedures.
- Perform training and orientation of other employees as requested by management.
- Meet state-specific and federal requirements to perform portable x-rays, including registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or state x-ray license.
- Hold a valid state-issued driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
- Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds and walk up and down stairs easily while carrying equipment.
- Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
