Job Title: Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Developlus. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on production equipment and facilities, diagnosing and fixing mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical issues to maximize equipment uptime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform all PM's (Preventative Maintenance) assigned tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Determine root cause and troubleshoot to repair or replace inadequate components.
  • Complete Work Orders within the assigned schedule.
  • Report and close out WO's in the Upkeep system.
  • Troubleshoot and fix mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
  • Setup, start, and run production equipment.
  • Utilize powered industrial trucks to handle heavy equipment/products.
  • Install industrial machinery and diagnose machinery/equipment malfunctions.
  • Work with technicians to troubleshoot, upgrade, or run new equipment.
  • Replace high voltage motors, drives, and controls.
  • Replace sensors, load cells, and photo eyes.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of related work experience or Electronics/Mechanical/Equipment Certificates.
  • Basic electrical experience with 480 volts; 3 phase - preferred.
  • Must be able to work with required PPE on such as gloves, hearing protection, safety glasses/shield, respirator, hard hats, and to be certified in the Respirator program.
Education/Experience:
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Experienced with hand tools: wrench, drivers, etc.
  • Working knowledge of powered tools, such as: table grinder, angle grinder, hammer drill, etc.
  • Experienced with measuring devices such as: multimeter, pressure gauge, calipers, torque wrench, etc.
Language Skills:
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred.
Mathematical Skills:
  • Basic Math, Knowledge of OHMs Law, Exposed to Algebra.
Reasoning Ability:
  • Ability to think to make quick decisions with safety in mind.
  • Time management skills.
  • Technical capacity.
  • Flexibility.
Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is mostly standing and requires repetitive hand movements, will also require walking, reaching, pulling, climbing, squat, kneel, bending, occasionally lifting up to about 30 lbs., taking pictures of finished work for upload to the Upkeep system.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to work in front of a computer monitor or tablet.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the production environment can be loud.
