Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct site investigations and analyze soil and rock properties to determine their suitability for construction projects.
  • Perform laboratory tests on soils and construction materials to determine their strength and durability.
  • Provide seismic and geotechnical engineering recommendations to ensure the safety and stability of construction projects.
  • Support construction projects by providing geotechnical engineering expertise and advice.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in civil or geotechnical engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or ability to obtain within 2-3 years.
  • Experience with CAD software, GIS, and geotechnical data analysis software is preferred.
