POSITION SUMMARY:

A Lift Technician is responsible for diagnosing and resolving issues with our ski lifts, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. All maintenance and repairs performed on the lifts must be meticulously documented. This role involves collaborating with management to address concerns, conducting routine maintenance on lift machinery, and coordinating with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with safety standards.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Evaluate ski lifts and associated machinery to accurately identify and rectify issues
  • Communicate with management to assess lift needs and report any defects or operational problems
  • Conduct regular inspections of lifts and promptly inform management of any concerns
  • Prepare detailed work estimates as required
  • Maintain a comprehensive log of all maintenance and repairs performed
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in a safe and functional condition
  • Follow all company safety protocols and procedures

EDUCATION & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma and an associate degree in mechanical technology or a related field
  • Preferred but not mandatory: relevant lift certifications
