Plastic Surgery Physician Assistant Specialist

GPAC is seeking a highly skilled Plastic Surgery Physician Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our Plastic Surgery department, you will work closely with our surgeons to provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct care to patients, demonstrating clinical expertise and advanced knowledge.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health problems within the specialty area of practice.
- Collaborate and consult with physicians and other healthcare professionals in the area of clinical expertise.
- Conduct comprehensive appraisals of patients' health status by taking health histories and performing physical examinations in the specialty area.
- Provide primary prevention strategies and management of stable health problems.
- Provide specialty care to assigned patients, including both stable and unstable chronic health problems.
- Establish diagnoses for common short-term or chronic health conditions.
- Prescribe medications, diet, supplies, prosthetic devices, and other home health aides or medication according to clinical privileges.
- Evaluate patients to determine their need for further healthcare.
- Document in the medical record all care provided and/or procedures performed.
- Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
- License as a Physician's Assistant in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of three years of PA experience in Plastics.
