The ideal candidate will have a master's degree or higher in nursing and be certified in acute care pediatric nurse practitioner or physician assistant. Dual certification in primary and acute care pediatric nurse practitioner is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Care for patients with congenital heart disease, including pre-surgical and post-surgical patients, acquired heart disease, and post-surgical adult congenital heart disease.
  • Work in a high acuity, fast-paced environment with a team of experienced healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

  • Current Texas licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current Texas licensure as an APRN-NP.
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification.
  • Pediatric advanced life support (PALS) certification.
  • Preferred adult cardiac life support (ACLS) certification.
