Pactiv Evergreen is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair faulty production and related plant equipment with minimal supervision.
- Identify and replace faulty parts, and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating equipment, and conducting safety inspections.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve equipment issues and improve overall facility efficiency.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Three to five years of experience in a related field, preferably in a manufacturing or facilities maintenance environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a vocational or trade school curriculum in electro-mechanical courses desired.
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and ability to read and use precision instruments, such as micrometers and calipers.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate with colleagues.
- Ability to work a 8, 10, or 12-hour shift, standing and walking for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds.
