- Administrative Tasks: Assist with daily tasks, such as distributing facility newsletters, updating orientation boards, and preparing resident birthday menus.
- Transportation: Safely transport residents to off-site activities using facility vans.
- Professional Development: Attend meetings, in-services, and educational programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Confidentiality and Safety: Maintain confidentiality of resident information and adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
- Education: High school graduate; higher education desirable but not mandatory.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
- Interests and Skills: Aptitude in arts, crafts, and games; sincere interest in working with the elderly; patience, tact, and a cheerful disposition.
- Physical Demands: Ability to bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Communication: Confidence in public speaking and leading groups.
Sunny Vista provides a competitive compensation package, including a wage range of $16.48 to $18.01 per hour, as well as a range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, disability insurance, 401(k) with match, paid time off (PTO), and an employee assistance program.
