We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a key member of our physician practice, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Register patients, collect demographic and financial information, and accurately input data into our Electronic Medical Recordkeeping (EMR) system.
- Answer and relay incoming, outgoing, and inter-office calls, delivering routine instructions to patients in preparation for their visit.
- Provide general clerical support functions, including scheduling meetings, patients, and appointments, maintaining calendars, and coordinating with other clinical services.
- Collect and count cash receipts and daily deposits, ensuring a balanced cash drawer daily.
- Maintain order and cleanliness throughout the clinic, performing housekeeping duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical clerical experience in a hospital, physician practice, clinic, nursing home, or insurance agency (preferred).
Work Environment:
This is a full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek. The work schedule is day job, and the location is 643 5th Ave W.
