Job Summary

The Arora Group is seeking a highly skilled Psychiatrist to join our team as a Clinical Operations Specialist. As a key member of our healthcare services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric care to patients in a detention/correctional setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to patients, including evaluation, formulation of diagnoses, and treatment of psychiatric and mental health care needs.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and psychotherapy.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, adhering to HIPAA regulations and IHSC policies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical standards, guidelines, and best practices in psychiatry.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from a school in the United States or equivalent degree from a foreign medical school.
  • Completion of four years of medical specialty training leading to board eligibility in psychiatry.
  • Minimum of one-year experience as a licensed practicing psychiatrist.
  • Permanent, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine independently in the state where the duty station is located.
  • Board Certification eligible by The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc. (ABPN).
  • Maintains BLS for Healthcare Providers certification through the American Heart Association.
