Job Summary

The Lead Direct Support Professional-Weekend Float is a key member of our team, responsible for providing exceptional support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role requires a unique blend of leadership, communication, and caregiving skills, with a focus on ensuring the daily well-being and safety of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily cares, medical needs, and supports, including activities of daily living and mental health supports.
  • Develop and implement personalized plans to promote independence, choice, and community involvement.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to support staff, ensuring a positive and inclusive team environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of care.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and evenings.
