Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant plays a vital role in the front door reception and telephone reception areas of The Salvation Army Eastern Territory. This position requires a professional and courteous individual who can provide information and answer inquiries for the general public, visitors, and other interested parties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the reception area, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment.
- Respond to phone calls, emails, and other inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide administrative support to staff members, including data entry, filing, and other tasks as needed.
- Assist with special projects and events, such as conferences and meetings.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of administrative experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
