Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and administer customer contract requirements, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Review and comprehend government regulations, including FAR, DFARS, and DLA, to ensure compliance.
  • Assist in identifying and proposing contract modifications and changes to drive business growth.
  • Communicate effectively with AAR staff, clients, and government agencies to ensure seamless contract execution.
  • Negotiate prices with customers as authorized by AAR Business Units.
  • Track, monitor, and manage quotation files to meet due dates, verifying and removing invalid requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, working closely with Finance, Legal, and Business staff.
  • Advise Business Leaders on risks and opportunities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or eight years of related experience and/or training.
  • Four to seven years of experience in contracts, government affairs, procurement/purchasing, business development, or similar government/defense business discipline.
  • Experience with a Government agency is preferred.
  • Prior experience in the Defense industry is preferred.
  • Strong inter-personal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
