Remote Petroleum Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Petroleum Service Technician to join our team in Kansas City. As a remote employee, you will be based in the Kansas City branch but will work independently to perform scheduled and emergency repairs and maintenance on equipment such as fuel dispensers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fuel dispensers and other equipment.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure complete customer satisfaction.
Daily Operations:

Take daily directions from the Service Manager or Service Dispatcher regarding tasks to be performed. Follow Double Check Service protocols.

Vehicle and Inventory Maintenance:

Maintain a company-furnished vehicle and keep an inventory of repair parts.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures and report any unsafe conditions.

Training:

Complete online and classroom training courses, including regular recertifications.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Follow all customer protocols and procedures, including safety and housekeeping guidelines, when performing repairs at customer sites.
  • Troubleshoot and repair point-of-sale (POS) systems and fuel management software.
Requirements:
  • At least 1-year experience in petroleum-related service is preferred, but training will be provided.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Strong communication and customer relations skills.
  • Basic computer skills.

Work flexible hours and be willing to travel to customer sites as needed.
