Key Responsibilities
  • Operate all equipment in the department, including the Lieder, Accraply, and Zeph machines.
  • Practice strict sanitation and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to ensure food safety and quality.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime.
  • Conduct regular inspections of packaging equipment to identify and address any issues.
  • Document environmental concerns and quality control issues for QA and USDA review.
  • Maintain accurate records of production, quality, and sanitation data.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds repeatedly, 50 pounds occasionally, and push/pull full tubs of product (750 lbs).
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality record.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Good human relations skills and ability to work well with others.
  • Basic math skills and ability to follow detailed instructions.
