Respite Care LVN Job Description

BrightStar Care is seeking compassionate LVNs to provide respite care to our clients in Long Beach and North Orange County. As a Respite LVN, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our clients and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications, treatments, and perform medical procedures as prescribed.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and overall health status of patients.
  • Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Communicate with family members and healthcare providers to coordinate and implement care plans.
Requirements:
  • Current and Unrestricted CA LVN License.
  • Demonstrate Strong Clinical Skills, Minimum One Year Paid Experience REQUIRED.
  • Previous experience in respite, home health, or related nursing care preferred.
  • Background Check/Drug Screen.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Employment Physical/Negative TB Skin Test.
  • Licensed Driver with Insured and Reliable Transportation.
  • Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality.
