Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant to join our team at the Community Health Center of Central Wyoming. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care to children and families in our Riverton location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat patients in accordance with standard medical practices and protocols.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as necessary, while ensuring patient safety and well-being.
  • Supervise and evaluate Medical Assistants to ensure compliance with regulations and high-quality patient care.
  • Consult with patients on proper nutrition, fitness, and hygiene to promote healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Participate in quality measures and outcomes as directed by our Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) program.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records, including evaluations, medications, treatments, and test results.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a recognized and accredited training program for Nurse Practitioners or Physician's Assistants.
  • Licensure by the State and Drug Enforcement Administration required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment and travel to other locations as needed.
  • Sensitivity to the needs of special population groups, including those defined by race, ethnicity, language, age, sex, sexual orientation, economic standing, and disabilities.
Work Environment

Our clinic is a typical outpatient setting with a focus on providing high-quality patient care. Some travel may be required to other locations within central Wyoming.
