Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in the Interdisciplinary Liberal Arts major, including research methods, documentary film as a liberal art, world literature, and senior capstone seminars.
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the major's goals and objectives.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students.
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Requirements
  • Master's degree (MFA/PhD for Special Assistant Professor titles) and evidence of excellent teaching capability at the college level required.
  • Demonstrated commitment to and evidence of excellence in teaching capability at the college level required.
  • Experience teaching courses related to Interdisciplinary approaches preferred.
  • Ability to advance the Department's commitment to diversity and inclusion through teaching and outreach.
