Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Land Development Manager to join our team at Lennar Homes. As a key member of our land development team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of land development, from site clearing to completion of finished home sites and tract final acceptance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of land development, including site clearing, grading, and infrastructure installation.
  • Develop and implement construction schedules and budgets, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Collaborate with project engineers, consultants, and trade partners to gain approvals and permits.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, including air quality and stormwater management.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local government agencies, stakeholders, and community groups.
  • Provide input on site engineering plan development to ensure efficient and effective infrastructure design.
  • Perform bond exoneration for final tract acceptance, including coordination of punch lists and site walks.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) and dust control plans.
  • Work closely with the construction team to ensure lot delivery for vertical construction starts of models and production homes.
Requirements
  • Four (4) years of related experience in land development management, civil engineering design, or a related field.
  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to make sound decisions in the field and troubleshoot issues.
