Post-Surgical Care Opportunity

Highpoint Health Sumner is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Post Surgical/Ortho Unit. As a member of our team, you will provide exceptional care to adult and adolescent patients who have undergone various surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality post-surgical care to patients with a wide range of surgical procedures, including general surgery, orthopedic surgeries, and colectomies.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
  • Utilize advanced skills and knowledge to provide meticulous post-surgical monitoring and care, promoting rapid and effective recovery.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A current State of Tennessee or Multi-State Registered Nurse licensure.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree or RN Diploma in Nursing.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
  • ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) within 6 months of employment.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire.
