We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our team at New York Imaging. As an Interventional Radiology Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our Interventional Radiology program.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with our team of radiologists and technologists to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic results.
- Assist in maintaining inventory and par levels for Interventional Radiology equipment and supplies.
- Support the Lead IR Technologists in clinical initiatives, quality control, and training.
- Perform advanced clinical IR procedures and fluoroscopy.
- Coordinate with Recovery Room, CT, and US teams for efficient workflow and patient care.
- Transport patients safely and with proper body mechanics.
- Assist with clerical and non-technical duties necessary for department operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions in a timely manner.
- AART registered and in good standing. Advanced registry preferred (CT, MRI, IR).
- Minimum 1 year Cath Lab/IR experience.
- Advanced computer skills including Google Platform, Microsoft Office, RIS, PACS, and EMR.
- BLS certificate.
- Ability to clearly communicate with patients, co-workers, management, physicians, and visitors.
- Ability to operate Fluoroscopic equipment.
- Salary up to $60 per hour commensurate with experience and education.
- Benefits include 100% Tuition Reimbursement for any accredited nursing degree, including NP and PA.
