Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

UPMC is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at UPMC Memorial in York, PA.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures.
  • Prepare and observe patients undergoing procedures and report any abnormal activity.
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of supplies and their use during procedures.
  • Perform or assist Clinical Specialist in performing QA, regulatory testing, and other technical initiatives.
  • Assist with Fluoro time monitoring, medical editing requests, and annual lead apron compliance checks.
  • Participate in standardization activities with system-level workgroups.

The ideal candidate will have experience with endovascular procedures (EVAR, TCAR, EKOS) and be a graduate of an approved AMA School of Radiologic technology. Additionally, the candidate must be ARRT certified as a Radiologic Technologist and hold a secondary registration in VI or equivalent. Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification is also required.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
  • ARRT certified as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Secondary registration in VI required or equivalent.
  • CPR or BLS Required.
