Insights and Analytics
ZS's Insights & Analytics division collaborates with clients to design and implement solutions that address a wide array of business challenges. Our teams manage multiple projects concurrently, utilizing advanced data analytics and problem-solving methodologies. Our recommendations and solutions are grounded in thorough research and analysis, supported by deep expertise and thought leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop advanced and efficient statistically sound algorithms to address complex problems.
- Apply problem-solving, data, delivery, functional, and technological expertise to solutions for trial design, protocol optimization, site selection, feasibility assessments, clinical operations metrics, and business intelligence.
- Utilize knowledge of Life Sciences R&D organizations, data and systems, business processes, and stakeholder types to inform analyses and recommendations for clinical development solutions.
- Contribute to the advancement of ZS's thought leadership in technology solutions that expedite clinical development.
- Employ technical skills such as hypothesis testing, machine learning, and retrieval processes to apply statistical and data mining techniques for trend identification, figure creation, and relevant information analysis.
- Collaborate with clients and other stakeholders at ZS to integrate and effectively communicate findings.
- Participate in the evaluation of emerging datasets and technologies that influence our analytical platform.
- Engage in the creation of specific assets and accelerators that promote scalability.
- Contribute to advancing thought leadership through research support and publication assistance.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to Associate team members.
- A PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field, or a Master's degree with 5 or more years of relevant post-collegiate experience.
- 5+ years of experience working with clinical systems data (EDC, CTMS, IVR, eTMF, and patient data such as ePRO, Lab, CDMS, OC, etc.), with a solid understanding of clinical processes and documents like protocols and data sources (AACT, Citeline, etc.).
- Strong academic background with coursework focusing on analysis and quantitative skills.
- Familiarity with big data, advanced analytical concepts, and algorithms (e.g., text mining, social listening, recommender systems, predictive modeling, etc.).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, R).
- Experience with tools/platforms such as the Hadoop ecosystem, Amazon Web Services, or database systems.
- Proficiency in agile project planning and project management methodologies.
- Experience in client interactions, crafting project proposals, and leading teams.
- Fluency in English.
- Relevant domain knowledge in areas such as healthcare, transportation, technology, insurance, or related fields.
