Job Summary

Ascension Health seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a dynamic Med Surg environment. As a member of our healthcare team, you will implement and monitor patient care plans, monitor patient condition, and coordinate with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, including medication administration, wound care, and patient education
  • Monitor patient condition, recording and communicating changes as appropriate
  • Coordinate with the healthcare team to deliver well-coordinated patient care
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders

Requirements:

  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date
  • Registered Nurse licensure from the Florida Board of Nursing
