We are seeking an experienced Diesel Fleet Mechanic to join our team at US Foods. As a vital member of our maintenance crew, you will play a crucial role in keeping our fleet of diesel equipment running smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintain diesel equipment, including tractors and trailers, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations, to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and document all repair work.
  • Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to complete repairs and resolve complex issues.
Requirements
  • CDL A and DOT certification preferred.
  • Ability to comply with EPA and OSHA regulations, with strong understanding of technical and service manuals.
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to work effectively with co-workers and drivers.
  • Ability to manage multiple functions simultaneously, with minimal supervision.
