Role Overview:
US Foods, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Diesel Fleet Mechanic to join our team of skilled technicians. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our fleet of diesel vehicles. This critical role requires a strong foundation in diesel mechanics, with extensive hands-on experience in identifying and resolving complex equipment issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with diesel engines and related components.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and filter replacements.
  • Document all repair activities and maintain accurate records of parts used.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless workflow and minimize downtime.

Requirements:
Our ideal candidate holds a minimum of three years of experience as a heavy-duty commercial diesel mechanic or reefer mechanic, with additional certifications like CDL A and DOT certification being highly beneficial. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with effective communication and teamwork abilities, are crucial for success in this role.
