Job Summary:

The Materials Inspector is responsible for ensuring the quality of microelectronic piece parts used in assembly build. This role involves inspecting, measuring, and counting components to various Military and Jedec standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect die and piece parts using high and low power microscopes to ensure compliance with Military and Jedec standards.
  • Follow defined specifications and reaction paths to ensure accurate inspection and processing of components.
  • Use multiple hand tools to manually process delicate products without damaging components.
  • Stock and issue materials for assembly build, ensuring accurate inventory management.
  • Train employees on specifications and processes used in the area, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Maintain well-organized and audit-ready work areas, adhering to company standards.
  • Utilize computer-based manufacturing systems to move product and enter data, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Basic computer skills are necessary for effective use of manufacturing systems.
  • Strong verbal communication skills are essential for effective training and collaboration with colleagues.
  • Attention to detail is critical for accurate inspection and processing of components.
